The Los Angeles Lakers defeated the Houston Rockets on Saturday, but it wasn't without controversy. LeBron James and Houston head coach Ime Udoka exchanged technical fouls.
Second technical foul dismissed Udoka from the game. Once again, the Lakers strolled to victory.
James has two technical fouls this season, exceeding last year's total. When asked, he answered "It's a wild season".
This year, NBA officials seem impatient and are issuing more technical fouls. James has been victimized, but perhaps this is the last.
Bench play in the second quarter helped the Lakers win. Guard Austin Reaves scored 15 of 18 points in the second to give LA a large halftime advantage.
James stated, “I was happy I was able to bring it home, that's for sure.” He had 16 points and 7 rebounds. “The fans participated. Both the audience and our bench participated. It was technical, but we'll take it. We'll take that.”

James shouldn't earn another technical against the Phoenix Suns on Tuesday. The Lakers need him, so he must be careful not to keep adding points.
