In-season tournament: Pacers beat Celtics in quarterfinals with Tyrese Haliburton's first triple-double. part-2

In Las Vegas, the Pacers will have company from the New Orleans Pelicans.

Brandon Ingram had a monster game as the Pelicans cruised to a 127-117 victory against the Sacramento Kings in Monday night's second quarterfinal game of the in-season tournament at the Golden 1 Center.

The Pelicans had a 15-point deficit in the first quarter, but they came storming back to win the first half then reclaimed the lead nearly immediately in the second

They proceeded without turning back after that. The advantage never changed hands as the Pelicans cruised to a 10-point victory.

The Kings' Domantas Sabonis recorded his second triple-double of the year, propelling him to the lead. Even though the team lost, he still managed to score 26 points, grab 13 boards, and dish out 10 assists on 8-of-12 shooting

In addition to 14 points from Keegan Murray, De'Aaron Fox contributed 30 points despite shooting 1-for-7 from outside the arc.

For the Pelicans, Ingram scored 30 points, with 16 of those points coming in the second half. He also grabbed eight rebounds and dished out six assists. The scoring was rounded up by Herb Jones with 23 points, while Jonas Valančiūnas contributed 18 points and 11 rebounds.

On Thursday night, the Pelicans will face off in the semifinals against one of the two teams: the Suns or the Lakers. On Tuesday, the quarterfinal matchup between the Suns and the Lakers will take place.
