Fantasy basketball Week 7 waiver wire selections and In-season Tournament details

Welcome to The Playlist, my weekly fantasy basketball feature on who and what to play in music and other categories.

The acquisitions, lineup notes (who's in and out of rotations), and must-watch games from throughout the league will be posted each week.

Every club plays two games in Week 7. Fantasy points will be tallied for all games played Monday, Dec. 4–Friday, Dec. 8. The IST Championship game on Saturday will not count against Week 7 fantasy score.

All non-IST teams play 11 games on Wednesday and 13 on Friday. Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday are streaming days. Pick teams to win on Monday and Tuesday (Quarterfinals) since they play again on Thursday.

You should sign Hauser if you think the Celtics will leave. He's having a good week, averaging roughly 11 points, six rebounds, and three 3s. Buying him may net you two games if the Celtics beat the Pacers on Monday.

Toppin (injury/illness) is uncertain for Monday; start him if healthy. In five games with the starters, he's averaged 17 points and three 3s. If the Pacers advance on Monday, he's a nice stream despite his lack of activity.

The Kings, five-point favorites and 6-2 at home, face the Pelicans, 3-6 on the road. Barnes is streamable in Week 7 if the Kings progress. Fantasy managers can count on his points, 3s, low-end rebounds, and steal throughout his previous three games of at least 33 minutes.

Allen remains under-rostered without Bradley Beal. He and Eric Gordon averaged 24 fantasy points per game and were in the top 90 in category leagues last week. His minutes seem safe, averaging 37 in his past five games.
